Terms of Service for Spark & Splash Lab

By using Spark & Splash Lab (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service with Mount Si Labs LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Spark & Splash Lab, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Spark & Splash Lab is an educational app designed for children ages 4–5 that teaches physics and electrical engineering concepts through play. The App includes:

Two interactive lab rooms (Motion Playground and Circuit Builder)
12 guided missions across physics and circuit topics
Free play mode in each lab room
Collectible sticker rewards for completed missions
A parent dashboard with audio and progress controls

3. No Accounts Required

Spark & Splash Lab does not require or support account creation. All app data is stored locally on your device.

4. No User-Generated Content

The App does not allow users to create, upload, or share content. All content within the App is provided by us.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, illustrations, animations, and educational content, is owned by Mount Si Labs LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

6. Purchases

Spark & Splash Lab is a paid app. All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s Terms and Conditions. Refund requests should be directed to Apple, as they process all payments.

There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 “As Is” Service

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7.2 Educational Content

The App is designed to introduce basic physics and electrical engineering concepts through play. It is not a substitute for formal education or instruction. Educational outcomes may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Children’s Use

Spark & Splash Lab is designed for children ages 4–5. We recommend that children use the App under parental supervision. A parent gate protects access to settings and external links.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
